Wins the target as Button waves goodbye to title hopes

Jenson Button is not giving up on winning a race this season even though he admits his championship aspirations are on hold for another year. Button has scored just 25 points this season - the same amount that he had after one race in 2012 - and is a distant 10th in the drivers' championship. McLaren has struggled for pace since the start of the year and both cars finished outside the points in Canada, but Button still thinks a win will be possible later in the year. "I want to do the best I can, and every race I go into I hope to get the maximum out of the car, and I aim to win grands prix this year," he told Press Association Sport.
