Vettel gives Red Bull first Montreal victory

Sebastian Vettel was overjoyed to secure his and Red Bull's first ever victory at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve on Sunday afternoon, with the reigning World Champion converting his Canadian Grand Prix pole position in dominant fashion. Having retained his lead into the first corner, the German never looked back and  took the chequered flag 14.4 seconds over Fernando Alonso, ensuring that he leads the Ferrari driver by a significant total of 36 points ahead of the British Grand Prix.
