Vettel 'extremely happy' with pole position

Sebastian Vettel is understandably happy to emerge from today's tricky qualifying session on top after nabbing pole position for tomorrow's Canadian Grand Prix. The German managed to make the most of the damp and slippery conditions to reign supreme and shared his happiness at breaking Mercedes hold on Saturday: 'I'm happy the lap was good enough, as it was tight with Lewis. I am extremely happy with the result and looking forward to the race tomorrow.' Last years champion is feeling confident in the dry too, adding 'I think we had strong pace yesterday, so no matter what the conditions we should be in decent shape.'
