Alonso edges out Hamilton in Canada FP2

June 7th, 2013 (F1Plus / Chris Cameron-Dow) - After a wet morning session, 11 Formula One teams were relieved to find the track dry for second practice in Montreal. And the laptimes showed the change in conditions. Fernando Alonso finished up quickest, over six seconds faster than Paul Di Resta's leading time from this morning. Lewis Hamilton was just 12 thousandths of a second behind Alonso, with Romain Grosjean third for the second time in as many practice sessions. Alonso not only topped the times, he also completed more laps (48) than any other driver.
