F1 2013 – New Pirelli tyres will not debut at Canada

Pirelli have confirmed that their new modified tyre will not be used at the 2013 F1 Canadian grand prix, instead teams will be given 2 sets to trial during Friday practice, with the aim being to use the revised tyres at the British grand prix.A Pirelli spokesperson told autosport 'We'll be bringing two sets per team for Friday practice with a view to implementing the new rear tyres in Silverstone,''As the regulations allow for this and for reasons of sporting equity, we think that this is the best way forward.''We want to get rid of the delamination that we found is debris-induced and creates a weak spot and overheating,' Paul Hembery said of the changes.'We believe the solution we have...
