Grosjean safe for now despite rolling contract

Romain Grosjean's seat at Lotus is safe for the time being, despite a strong of crashes in Monaco which could call his contract into question. The Frenchman has was involved in numerous crashes last season which resulted in a one-race ban. He was however offered a contract for the 2013 season. That contract is reviewed every three races, giving the team the ability to terminate it should they feel he's not doing a suitable job. Monaco is the sixth race of the season, but Lotus boss Eric Boullier - and Grosjean's manager - insists his seat is safe for now.
