Grosjean gets 10-place grid penalty

Lotus driver Romain Grosjean has been handed a ten-place grid penalty for the next race of the season in Canada, having been deemed responsible for causing a collision with Toro Rosso rival Daniel Ricciardo during Sunday's Monaco Grand Prix. Grosjean, who started the race from 13th on the grid after failing to make it through the second phase of qualifying on Saturday, came to blows with Ricciardo on Lap 62, ploughing into the back of the Australian under braking for the Nouvelle Chicane. Having reviewed the footage and data available, stewards opted to apply the grid drop.
