Toro Rosso to use Renault engines in 2014

Renault has confirmed that it will supply Scuderia Toro Rosso with engines from the start of next season. Toro Rosso has used Ferrari engines since 2007 but will switch to Renault for Formula 1′s new engine era in 2014. As expected, Renault will continue to power reigning world champions Red Bull. 'We are very pleased to have reached an agreement to use Renault power units from the 2014 season onwards, when the new regulations will present interesting challenges,' said STR team principal Franz Tost.
