Red Bull to get Infiniti branded engines in '14
Red Bull will run Infiniti branded engines in 2014 when the sport switches to V6 turbo-charged power units next season. The outfit will continue its relationship with Renault, which has designed and built the new generation power unit which consists of a V6 engine, turbo-charger and ERS unit. However the Renault branding will be replaced with the Infiniti name and Red Bull will amend its team name to Red Bull-Infiniti next year. The japanese luxury car manufacturer is owned by Nissan, of which Renault holds a 43.4 per cent stake.
