Whitmarsh: Perez has 'stepped it up'

McLaren Team Principal Martin Whitmarsh feels new signing Sergio Perez has 'stepped it up' in regards to his confidence and performance. The Mexican had a difficult start to the season, which was not helped by the difficult MP4-28. However Whitmarsh feels that he is now on an upward trajectory and the team are looking to better results in the future as they continue to develop the car.
