Brawn wary of tyre issues beyond Monaco

Mercedes team principal Ross Brawn admits he is wary of Mercedes struggling in races beyond the Monaco Grand Prix. Next weekend's race in Monte Carlo provides Mercedes with some welcome respite from the tyre issues it suffered in both Bahrain and Spain. However, Brawn said the rest of the team away from the circuit would continue to work on the problems experience in the last two races, with Silverstone especially likely to provide Mercedes with a stern challenge. "The engineering team will be focused on getting the most from our car on the slow, bumpy layout and there will of course be particular emphasis on achieving tyre consistency and durability," Brawn said....
