Hembery denies pressure from Bulls & Bernie

Paul Hembery has downplayed suggestions that Red Bull Racing and Bernie Ecclestone put pressure on Pirelli to change their tyres. Although several teams - led by reigning World Champions Red Bull - had been critical of Pirelli's tyres since the very start of the season, it wasn't until Sunday's Spanish GP that the situation came to a head. The tyres, which suffer from high degradation and have a small operating window, resulted in some drivers needing four stops in order to reach the chequered flag at the Barcelona circuit.
