Mercedes cars struggle with tyres

Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton finished the Spanish Grand Prix in sixth and 12th places today. It was overall a very difficult race for Mercedes AMG with both cars struggling with tyre degradation after starting from the front row of the grid. Nico Rosberg, F1 W04 / 03, 6th: 'I had a very tough race this afternoon. The start was good and I managed my first stint well to keep some of the quicker cars behind me. From there, I had to drive my own race and we began to go backwards as it made no sense to destroy my tyres by trying to stay ahead.
