After Bahrain tussle, Perez out-qualifies Button in Spain

Sergio Perez seems to have found his groove at McLaren and is giving teammate and 2009 world champion Jenson Button a run for his money. The Mexican driver, in his debut season with McLaren, upstaged the Briton during qualifying for the Spanish Grand Prix on Saturday by qualifying ninth. 'We’ve had a difficult couple of days – I had problems throughout practice – so to get through to Q3 was a great result, and something we really weren’t expecting,' Perez said referring to the struggling McLaren.
