Qualy: Rosberg secures Merc's hat-trick

Nico Rosberg clinched Mercedes' third successive pole position when he edge team-mate Lewis Hamilton in qualifying for the Spanish GP. The German driver put in a sublime 1:20.718, finding much-needed pace in the final sector, to beat Hamilton by 0.254s. Rosberg's time, though, did come under attack from Mercedes rivals but despite having the pace in the first two sectors, Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen had to settle for third and fourth. Both the Red Bull racer and the Lotus driver lost time in the final sector. Fernando Alonso was fifth in front of his home crowd, edging team-mate Felipe Massa while Romain Grosjean and Mark Webber were seventh and eighth. Full report to follow...
