Di Resta tyre issue could lead to changes

Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli says it is open to making changes to its compounds for future Grands Prix in the wake of Paul di Resta's dramatic failure in Friday afternoon's second practice session at Barcelona, with a detailed investigation due to take place. While completing a long run on the Medium rubber, the Force India driver was forced to pull off the circuit when his left-rear tyre gave way along the start-finish straight, littering debris all over the racing line and stripping the construction to its carcass.
