Wolff: Mercedes will be given time
Mercedes motorsport boss Toto Wolff has insisted the team will continue to enjoy the support of parent company Daimler, providing it progresses and shows signs it can challenge the likes of Red Bull and Ferrari for top honours.Although the outfit has stepped up this year, and Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg have both taken a pole position apiece, while Hamilton has also managed two podiums, there is still a lot of ground to make up.Indeed the squad is currently fourth in the Constructors' Championship with 64 points on the board - 13 behind Ferrari and 29 behind Lotus, while the current leaders, Red Bull Racing, have a 45 point advantage.“If we are perceived as a front-running team -...
