Lotus technical chief Allison to depart

James Allison has resigned as the Technical Director of Lotus, the Enstone-based outfit confirmed on Wednesday. The acclaimed engineer is to be replaced by Nick Chester, who has worked at the team since the 2000 campaign. More to follow.
