Maldonado eager for ‘special' return

Pastor Maldonado says returning to Barcelona for the Spanish Grand Prix will be ‘special', following his win at last year's race. Maldonado claimed pole position and converted it into his maiden win at the Circuit de Catalunya in 2012. 'It will be very special to return to Barcelona after my win there last season. Whilst all the drivers know the track very well and we have some good data from testing here earlier in the year, the track changes quite a lot so you still need to familiarise yourself with the conditions during practice and set up the car accordingly,' he said.
