FIA to continue with new telemetry partner

The FIA will continue to use its current and new-for-2013 telemetry supplier, despite persistent problems which are yet to be fixed. Riedel won the contract to supply the FIA with its telemetry link between race control and the cars. However since the opening race in Australia, the marshalling system which controls the cockpit warning lights and DRS override as well as GPS data, hasn't been functioning correctly. Improvements were made for the Bahrain Grand Prix, but some parts of the system remained offline.
