Schumacher to lap Nordschleife in F1 car

Michael Schumacher will lap the famous Nurburgring Nordschleife circuit in a modern Formula 1 car as part of a demonstration for the Nurburgring 24 Hours. Schumacher, who took up a Mercedes ambassadorial role after his second retirement, will drive a Mercedes W02 from the 2011 season on May 19th in what will be the first lap of the circuit in a modern F1 car since Nick Heidfeld drove the circuit in 2007 behind the wheel of his BMW. Schumacher described the opportunity as "every motor racing driver's dream."
