Vettel wins in Bahrain as last year's podium repeats

Sebastian Vettel cruised to a comfortable win at the Bahrain Grand Prix on Sunday with the top three finishing in the same order as in last year’s edition of the race. The German fought the Ferrari of Fernando Alonso and Nico Rosberg’s Mercedes in the early stages to take the lead of what was an action-packed race in which only one driver retired. “Stay under control,” Red Bull instructed the untouchable Vettel over the radio on the final lap as he went on to emerge victorious by 9.1 seconds to climb sixth on the all-time list ahead of Jackie Stewart.
