Alonso equals Mansell's victory tally
April 14th, 2013 (F1Plus / Chris Cameron-Dow) - Fernando Alonso took a comfortable victory in today's Chinese Grand Prix to equal Nigel Mansell's total of 31 Grand Prix wins. Alonso is now joint-fourth in the list of Grand Prix winners, and with the retirement of Michael Schumacher at the end of 2012 is top of the list for current drivers. It has taken Alonso 201 races to win 31 races, 12 more than Mansell required - 1992 champion Mansell's 31st and last victory came in his 189th race and last for Williams, the 1994 Australian Grand Prix.
