Webber, Gutierrez handed Bahrain grid drops
Mark Webber will start the Bahrain Grand Prix three places lower than he qualifies next week after the stewards chose to penalise him for his collision with Jean-Eric Vergne. The Australian believed Vergne was giving him the position, before the Frenchman closed the door and Webber collided with the Toro Rosso. Meanwhile, Esteban Gutierrez will start the next race five places lower than he qualifies after the FIA also chose to penalise him too for his collision with Adrian Sutil. The Mexican outbraked himself at the hairpin, sending him straight into the rear of the Force India, forcing both drivers to retire with heavy damage.
