Button looks for positives

Despite leading for much of the Chinese Grand Prix, Jenson Button believes that a fifth place finish is a good result. Button's two-stop strategy meant that he headed the field for a large portion of the race only to fall down the pecking order once he pitted late on to move to the option tyres. The McLaren driver eventually came home in fifth, 35 seconds off the pace of race winner Fernando Alonso. "For me, it is quite strange because we led a lot of the race. We did well, we had to try something different because we knew we didn't have the pace to finish in the top five on a three or four stop strategy.
