Lauda: 'No more team orders at Mercedes'

Mercedes non-executive chairman Niki Lauda has promised that the team will no longer use team orders following on from the controversial Malaysian Grand Prix. The Austrian, who didn't support Ross Brawn's decision to ask Nico Rosberg to stay behind Lewis Hamilton last time out, sat down with Brawn and Toto Wolff to discuss the matter and confirmed that they'd allow the drivers to battle out on track and make decisions for themselves. "There will be no more team orders. The drivers can do what they want," he said. "We will make them aware of any technical issues and they can then decide what to do."
