Chilton: It's a shame

Max Chilton's Chinese GP weekend did not get off to a great start as the Marussia driver managed just five laps on Friday afternoon. Showing some solid pace in FP1, Chilton was unable to follow that up in the day's second session as he was forced to park his MR02 on the side of the track on his fourth lap out. His team stated that it was a "kill switch" that caused the Brit's engine to stop with Chilton confirming that it is a "safety thing" that brings the switch into play. "I was just starting my first real pushing lap on the new primes and just went into Turn One and lost all power," he said. "It was a safety thing and that's the way it goes sometimes....
