Unwell Hamilton skips Thursday media sessions

Lewis Hamilton did not take part in media sessions ahead of the Chinese Grand Prix after feeling unwell on Thursday. The Mercedes driver returned to his hotel ahead of his scheduled media sessions at the circuit but is not thought to be at risk of missing this weekend's racing. He took part in sponsor appearances in Shanghai on Wednesday but was advised to rest on Thursday ahead of the first practice session on Friday. Hamilton is looking to add to his solid start to the season in China and currently sits fourth in the championship after a podium in Malaysia.
