Date finalised for Branson stewardess bet

Virgin founder Richard Branson will fulfil a long-standing bet with fellow airline boss Tony Fernandes next month when he acts as a stewardess on an AirAsia flight. The deal came about in 2010 when Fernandes bet Branson that his then named Lotus Racing squad would finish ahead of Virgin Racing in their debut campaigns, with the loser having to serve as a female flight attendant on the rival's airline. Lotus outplaced Virgin in the standings, despite both teams failing to score a point, with Branson preparing to honour the deal on a flight from Australia to Malaysia.
