Vettel concerned about tyres

Sebastian Vettel admitted he isn't sure if Red Bull might suffer a repeat of its tyre issues from Melbourne after practice for the Malaysian Grand Prix. With high temperatures and an abrasive track surface allied to the rapidly-degrading Pirelli tyres, Vettel said the tyre wear was "pretty severe" on Friday at Sepang. In Melbourne, Vettel took a dominant pole position but then failed to convert that in to a race victory as the Red Bull struggled to look after its tyres and he isn't confident the team has solved the problem.
