Raikkonen shows promise in practice for the Malaysian GP

Kimi Raikkonen emerged as the quickest during second practice for the Malaysian Grand Prix on Friday in a session interrupted by rains in the final half of the outing. The Lotus driver, who had split the Red Bulls in first practice in second place, set a time of 1 minute 36.569 seconds around Sepang, when conditions were dry, edging Sebastian Vettel by about two-hundredths of a second. It was the first time Raikkonen had topped practice since he returned to Formula 1 last year. The Ferrari pair of Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso then followed with the duo separated by nearly four-tenths.
