Gonzalez joins Marussia as reserve driver

Marussia has recruited Rodolfo Gonzalez as its reserve driver for the 2013 season, the team confirmed on Thursday. Gonzalez will get the opportunity to drive in a number of Friday practice sessions at grands prix as part of his deal - with the Bahrain GP believed to be the first. The Venezuelan, who has previously tested for Caterham and Force India, hopes to make a 'significant' contribution to the team's progress this year.
