Boullier admits he saved Grosjean's career

Lotus team principal Eric Boullier admits he saved Romain Grosjean from being axed at the Enstone outfit following an error strewn season. Grosjean, who was handed a one-race ban - the first since 1994 - for causing a first corner pile-up at the Belgian Grand Prix, failed to finish seven races due to incidents. Boullier, who is also the Frenchman's manager, says he deserves another chance, but he must learn quickly. "This is a boy who has the privilege of being one of the fastest drivers in the world," he told Le Figaro. "This is an uncompromising world that does not allow many mistakes.
