BBC to air F1 practice sessions

The BBC has confirmed that it will air free practice sessions live on terrestrial TV for the events it is to cover during the 2013 F1 season.Currently, the BBC is set to provide coverage of nine races during the season ahead, starting with the Chinese Grand Prix on 14 April and including events in Canada, Britain, Belgium and the season finale in Brazil.For those events, the BBC will show practice sessions live on BBC2 and BBC2 HD, marking the first time such sessions will be available on network TV without being behind the Red Button.With Jake Humphrey moving over to BT's new sports channel, the BBC had already confirmed that Suzi Perry would become the new presenter of its F1 coverage,...
