Button sets the pace in testing

McLaren's Jenson Button set an impressive pace in a wet/dry morning session on the second day of the final pre-season test. The Englishman ended up 0.216 seconds ahead of Force India's Adrian Sutil but with a time set in damper conditions. At the time he set the lap, Button was 1.736secs quicker than the field. Sauber's Nico Hulkenberg was third fastest overall, ahead of Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg and Lotus's Romain Grosjean. Ferrari's Fernando Alonso, who was briefly fastest before Button supplanted him by 0.027secs and then nearly two seconds, ended up sixth ahead of the Williams of Pastor Maldonado.
