Brawn: Mercedes on course

Mercedes boss Ross Brawn has confirmed he was happy with the progress the Brackley-based outfit made last week during the second F1 2013 pre-season test at Barcelona's Circuit de Catalunya.Lewis Hamilton topped the times on the rain-affected final day, while team-mate, Nico Rosberg was best on day one. In the end Rosberg and Hamilton finished up seventh and ninth overall on the combined times, with 335 laps completed in total, the fourth most of the eleven teams in action.“Overall, we've had a good week in Barcelona and achieved the programme that we set ourselves for this second test,” Brawn summarised.“The rain on Friday was a little unfortunate; however we made the best of the...
