Rosberg completes first run in F1 W04

Nico Rosberg has completed the first ever run of laps inside the new Mercedes F1 W04 chassis. The German, who is entering his fourth season with the team, left the Jerez pit lane at approximately 9.20am local time (GMT +1) to begin promotional work. Ahead of the official F1 W04 launch later today, the team has hired the Spanish venue for filming purposes. This means that Rosberg will be racking up mileage at slower speeds, before running the car in anger for the first time tomorrow morning. Mercedes will launch the F1 W04 on the Jerez pit straight at 1.30pm local time (GMT +1).
