Van der Garde completes Caterham line-up

LONDON, Feb 1, 2013 (AFP) - The Malaysian-owned team Caterham announced on Friday that Dutchman Giedo van der Garde will step up from the GP2 series to become their second driver for the forthcoming Formula One season. The 27-year-old, who had also been employed as Caterham's reserve driver, joins Charles Pic of France in an all-new driver roster. "Everyone in the team is delighted that we can finally confirm that Giedo will be racing for us in the 2013 FIA Formula One World Championship," said Caterham team principal Cyril Abiteboul. "He has been part of our family since early 2012, when he joined our GP2 team and was appointed as reserve driver for the F1 team....
