Gallery: Force India VJM06 breaks cover

Force India has become the latest Formula 1 team to pull the covers back on its new car for the 2013 season. The VJM06 was launched at the Silverstone circuit on Friday morning and, like the McLaren MP4-28 and the Ferrari F138, includes a 'modesty panel' to cover its stepped-nose. The car, as will be the case with most of the launches, looks very similar to that of last season and shares many similarities including a similar Coanda-effect exhaust layout as the VJM05. The team failed to confirm their second driver, with deputy team principal Bob Fernley saying they didn't wish to confuse the launch and announcement, leaving Paul di Resta to launch their car by himself.
