New Ferrari to be called F138

Ferrari have revealed their 2013 car, to be launched on Friday, will be called the F138. Unlike a number of teams, the Maranello outfit don't always follow a set covention over the naming of their cars and this year is no different. The team say that F138 name derives from a combination of the current year and the number of engine cylinders - eight - currently permitted in F1, which is the case for the final time in 2013 prior to the introduction of V6 turbos.
