Gallery: Lotus first to unveil 2013 car

Lotus has become the first team to unveil its 2013 car during an online launch on Monday evening. The E21 still features the stepped nose seen on its predecessor, despite a regulation change which allowed teams to cover the area with an optional 'modesty panel'. In addition to that, the major 'evolution' is at the rear of the car which has taken cues from Red Bull's RB8. It is more tighly packaged, has revised Coanda effect exhausts and revised sidepods. The biggest visual change is the livery which includes Coca-Cola's 'Burn' energy drink, additional red highlights on the sidepods and engine covers and the drivers names in large lettering - though this area could be for the yet to be...
