'November date for '14 Russian Grand Prix'

The 2014 Russian Grand Prix will be held in the month of November, according to Sochi's mayor, Anatoly Pakhomov. The race will therefore take place after the Winter Olympics, which is being staged at a new sports park in and around the circuit. With three Grands Prix scheduled for November on the 2013 calendar, a significant reshuffle is likely when the Sochi event gets added to the roster next season. "It will be held in November, after the Olympics," Pakhomov is quoted as saying by Reuters, before going on to explain: "The circuit’s construction is being closely monitored by the regional government.
