Buemi remains as Red Bull reserve driver for 2013
Sebastien Buemi has been retained as Red Bull’s test and reserve driver this season in a role which will involve “important simulation work” throughout the year. The 24-year-old had raced for Red Bull’s sister team, Toro Rosso, for three successive seasons and 55 Grands Prix before being dropped at the end of 2011. His best result was a seventh place at the 2009 Australian and Brazilian GPs. The latest announcement, however, ensures that he maintains his relationship with Red Bull Racing, which started in 2004. “Of course my aim is to be driving at the races again, but I am still learning all the time from my work with the team,” Buemi said. “I...
