Red Bull retain Buemi as reserve for 2013

Red Bull Racing have confirmed that Sebastien Buemi will remain as the team’s test and reserve driver in 2013. The 24 year old Swiss racer, who amassed 55 Grand prix starts over three seasons with Toro Rosso, will undertake important simulator work with the world championship-winning squad, as well as being on hand at races to provide cover for Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber. “I know everyone at Red Bull Racing well and it’s good to remain with the team for another year,” Buemi said. “Of course my aim is to be driving at the races again, but I am still learning all the time from my work with the team.
