'Glock leaves Marussia ahead of new season'

Timo Glock has allegedly terminated his contract with the Marussia F1 Team. The German, who is said to be leaving the outfit in search of a 'new challenge', was preparing to embark upon a fourth term with the Banbury-based squad this year, having joined ahead of its maiden Formula 1 campaign in 2010. 'I have experienced three great years with the Marussia F1 Team and we part as friends,' Glock is quoted as saying by Germany's Sport Bild in an online report. 'I want to give myself new challenges and continue my journey in motorsport.'
