Pérez: Sauber can win races this season

Sergio Pérez believes Sauber will be able to challenge for race victories this season, with the Mexican expecting his former team's upward trend to continue. The 22-year-old, who has completed his move to McLaren after two promising years with the Hinwil-based outfit, picked up three podium finishes in 2012. Pérez on the podium at the 2012 Italian Grand Prix'Sauber will be strong again, I am convinced of that,' Pérez is quoted as saying by Austrian newspaper Speed Week. 'The rules are fairly stable and they have understood their car well, so why should they be worse than they were in 2012? I even think there will be a few races that they will be capable of winning.'...
