Grosjean wins individual event at Race of Champions
Romain Grosjean won the individual event at the Race of Champions after beating Sebastian Vettel and Michael Schumacher in head-to-head races at Bangkok's Rajamangala Stadium. Grosjean beat Le Mans legend Tom Kristensen in the final over the best of three races of the knock-out competition to take the overall title. Vettel and Schumacher took the Nations Cup team competition on Saturday but both were beaten by Grosjean (Vettel in the quarter finals after a brush with the wall and Schumacher in the semis) as the Frenchman showed impressive pace on the tight stadium circuit.
