Vettel officially crowned F1 champion for third time

Red Bull Racing's Sebastian Vettel was officially crowned F1 world champion for the third successive time on Friday night during the FIA's prize giving gala in Istanbul.Vettel clinched the title at the season ending Brazilian Grand Prix, eventually finishing the year 3 points up on his closest rival.The German was presetned with his trophy for winning the Drivers' Championship by FIA president Jean Todt, while Ferrari's Fernando Alonso and Lotus pilot Kimi Raikkonen also received awards having finished second and third.“It's a fantastic feeling to be here tonight and to be able to take this trophy back home for another year.
