Parr explains why he left Williams so abruptly
Former Williams chairman Adam Parr has revealed the reasons behind his sudden departure from the Formula One team earlier this year. The team announced his resignation on March 26th with co-owner Sir Frank Williams explaining it was to allow him to "pursue a better balance in his life." Parr though, who has just published a graphic memoir of his time at the helm of the outfit, says the decision was actually made in the interests of the team, with the belief that Bernie Ecclestone wouldn't offer Williams the same benefits as the other top teams in the new Concorde Agreement whilst he was at the team.
