Track officials want 2013 US Grand Prix race date changed

Austin, Texas:  Circuit of the Americas officials say they hope Formula One will change the date of the 2013 US Grand Prix to avoid a conflict with a University of Texas home football game the same weekend.The track near Austin opened last month to rave reviews with more than 260,000 attending the three-day race weekend. The 2013 race has been scheduled for Nov. 17 with practice and qualifying on Friday and Saturday.Texas hosts a home football game that same weekend.
